Who We Are and Why

Clinton Elementary School PTO is made up of staff and families from the elementary school.  The PTO organizes and funds many events and activities throughout the school year.  We are a group of volunteers that believe being involved in our school is very important.  We want to help the school provide the best it can to both the students and staff.  We do this by providing funding for events, classroom supplies, teaching equipment, extracurricular activities, etc, and to encourage increased family involvement.

Research shows that when parents are involved in their children's education, the children are more likely to:

  • earn better grades
  • score higher on tests
  • pass their classes
  • attend school regularly
  • have better social skills
  • show improved behavior
  • be more positive in their attitude toward school
  • complete homework assignments
  • graduate and continue their education

So think about it.  Do you want to play an important role in helping your child succeed in their early schooling?  If so, do not delay, decide to jump on board and become a part of the PTO TODAY!

You can contact us directly at clintonpto@clinton.k12.mi.us or plan on attending our next regularly scheduled meeting.
